| One Race View This is Matt McLaughlin's opinion of the race: (With only a couple of exceptions I agree wholeheartedly) He starts the article by saying: The Key Moment: A Biblical downpour bought the sedate proceedings to a mercifully quick ending with Kurt Busch emerging as the winner in a high paying game of musical chairs. In a Nutshell: A wholly unsatisfying ending to a wholly unsatisfying race. For the rest of it, go to: The Frontstretch: Matt McLaughlin's Thinkin' Out Loud: LENOX Industrial Tools 301 by Matt McLaughlin -- Monday June 30, 2008

I was flipping between the PGA tournament and the "race." I enjoyed watching three supposed golf professionals try to hand the tournament title to each other. One golfer hooked a fairway shot so badly that his shot at the green was over a new Buick and two buildings and a tree!? Up until Our Favourite Colombian decided enough was enough, that was the most exciting thing I saw all day yesterday afternoon. Dave Despain's Wind Tunnel showed the USAC Silver Crown "COT." (Debut in 2010) That was about as thrilling as it got. |
