While we lean towards "liking it", gotta wonder if final results on Sunday might lend weight to the 'ol school - "Qualifying ain't racing".

It isn't. Like you, I liked the outcome (would have rather seen Ambrose start but he was the slowest so he doesn't deserve it. (neither does Menard but that's another story. Chosen 35!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!)

I was hoping Bobby could have kept it.

I liked Carpentier's attitude, "Man, I LOVE this series. All I want to do is be in it for a long time!" Not enough of that type of enthusiasm these days.

I was very disappointed about Bobby not winning the pole, until I heard Patrick's interview.

It's hard not to be happy for someone who seemed so genuine.

I still hope Bobby passes him on the first lap, though!
