| Re: Jr.'s Paint sheme for fathers day. I can't stand it anymore...the color is significant in this case...if you will remember, Ralph Earnhardt rand this color way-backwhen (his # was Keep up the good reading, kids...hope grandma get that big screen tv...with surround sound and stuff...racin' is great. NASCAR could use a muffler thing though...on DW! |

I beg for forgiveness. I am a style person myself when it comes to my personal stuff but when I'm cheering on one of my teams I really don't care all that much about what color the car is or who is sponsoring it on any particular week. My ultimate wish is the same as their ultimate goal. WIN at your game. The car color, the uniforms are just icing on the cake. Just bring home the trophy and make me happy along with that sponsor who has paid big bucks to see his company in Victory Lane. |

| Re: Jr.'s Paint sheme for fathers day. Sorry folks, I just don't get this "Retro Bud car on Father's Day" thing. I can never remember Dale the Elder running a Bud-sponsored car. IF he ever did I believe it was a one-up-type of deal. Though Bud had its name on earlier cars, the major sponsorship they did was with Junior Johnson (Neil Bonnett and Big Mouth), and Rick Hendrick (Kenny Schrader). The closest I remember Dale being with Bud was when he stuck Big Mouth in the backstretch fence at the Richmond Fairgrounds in ...? 1985? If anyone has any info on his running a Bud car, I'd be interested in reading it. But they want Earnmhardt the Junior to run a retro scheme to sell a lot of toy cars, eh? Then paint if correctly! It's gloss white with red Bud logos, a red roof, and a red spoiler on the rear. I can see Anheiser-Busch wanting a retro scheme, but get it right! Don't do some "artsy-fartsy" concept of what it might have been. And to use this Father's Day thing to infer that it's some type of tribute to Daddy Dale is really lame, IMNSVHO. If they wanted a Dale Sr tribute, how about a one-time blue/yellow Wrangler paint scheme? Now THAT might choke me up a little!
