| A Refreshing Cup Lite Is it just me or has the Cup Lite Series (or NW or BGN or whatever) actually been enjoyable the past three weeks? I wonder if the fact that the Cup Raiders have been notably absent from Nashville (six in the race),Kentucky (5) and Milwaukee (4) has anything to do with it? It's refreshing to see these guys trying to make their way up the ladder complete basically against each other and not the Cup scene stealers. I've also noticed that the tracks didn't seem to have much trouble putting butts in the seats, as opposed to the tired old NA__AR spiel that if all the Cup prima donnas didn't show up the seats would be empty. Let's hear it for a "real" developmental series!

| Re: A Refreshing Cup Lite Yes it has been nice. I have actually watched them all. But dang the cup drivers will soon be returning. I don't mind watching when there's a few in it. But when half the field are cup drivers it's not even worth watching to me.

This argument that, "If the Cup drivers weren't there, the series would fail," is a very flawed conclusion. |
