CTS at Michigan

Anyone else watching on Speed. Darnell, Hornaday, Bodine, Benson, Skinner, and Scott Speed all battling for the lead, pretty entertaining.

Re: CTS at Michigan

Now it's getting pretty spread out, Speed, Darnell, and Benson still up front.

Re: CTS at Michigan

Yeah and Kyle strikes again. I doubt Nascar will park him, but that was as deliberate of a spin that I have ever seen.

Now to the finish. I really think Nascar gave Darnell that win. I know it was hard to see, but I really think Benson held his own to the line.

Re: CTS at Michigan

Again, WOW! Photo finish for 1-2 and another photo finish for 3-4-5! The CTS race today is what stock car racing is supposed to be all about!

It started slow but then, that's just Michigan for you. But the last ten laps were excellent. If you missed the race you missed a good one.

John Darby, please take note. There just is NO WAY a tertiary series should CINSISTANTLY put on the best show and exhibit the best competition of a NASCAR weekend! Someone at NA__AR should be looking seriously into why this is happening on a regular basis.

I will have to see it again in slow motion from some different angles. Did Shrub go up or did Hornaday come down across him (Ron is famous for doing this)? besides, Hornaday had a bad tire and probably should have pitted. Kyle just might have closed on him too fast?

Or, Kyle could have just been Kyle and used some really poor judgement? He is known for doing crap like this.

I'll have to wait and see some replays before I can judge.

IRT Benson winning, it looked to me like Darnell got it by a whisker (blond one, at that). But the angle we got was looking down and backward. I'd like to see the shot from the line camera before judging NA__AR decision.

Re: CTS at Michigan

What did Kyle do this time? I've been at the grand opening of the local NASCAR store all day. They had one of Dale's old #3 cars there. Couldn't pass that up.

I don't think they gave it to him. Looked like he got the line maybe a fraction of a second before Johnny.

Looked to me like Kyle passed Hornaday, Hornaday passed him back and Kyle came down below him and turned right alittle and spun Hornaday. Even I have to say that did look pretty deliberate.

Re: CTS at Michigan

Thanks, I just found the video on NASCAR.com of Hornaday's interview and a replay of the wreck. My, my...what will Kyle Busch do next?

Re: CTS at Michigan

The finish was very close, it almost looked like tie, with the picture they put on Speed, Darnell looked like he was a fraction of an inch ahead of Benson, I think NASCAR got it right.

Kind of similar to the way Hornaday took Kyle out two weeks ago? That being said, it looked as though Kyle was a little bit less "accidental" than Ron's was. Pay Back Time?

No one should have a problem with it, IF it is. That's what several are advocating the veterans do to Logano.

Re: CTS at Michigan

Man, look at all those fans at the Bush race

Kentucky can fill the stands with more fans on a Saturday night claims jumper race, than Gillian Zucker can fill on a Sunday for a Cup race in Fontana

Re: CTS at Michigan

That STP car looks great! They even schemed it similar to Richard's old car.
