Paul Menard

Menard to run full time in Cup next year with D.E.I driving the #15 Chevy. Menard says he might run over 10 cup races this year just to get extra experience. Menard might also be one of the Toyata Races in 2008.

Re: Paul Menard

He already runs DEI engines doesn't he? Are we saying we think the personnel at DEI are going to help him? The money? I don't see DEI as being as good as they used to be, but I'd like to hear what others think.

Re: Paul Menard

I am pretty sure that Menard runs D.E.I. engines. I dont think D.E.I. is at the best yet but i think they will get there. I think D.E.I. will help Menard because he will have 2 good teammates with good experience.

I believe you'll find that Paul is on the DEI payroll. He came to DEI a couple of years ago. DEI took him because he brought the MENARD's Home Improvement sponsorship with him. (Must be great to have a rich daddy who is also a gigantic racing enthusiast?) Does his dad still sponsor a car in the IRL?
