Truer words were never spoken..........at least in a points race. However, he did win The Winston one year and came from the "B" Main to do it. That was the only time in his career I was ever impressed with him.

Today, he is nothing more than a media whore. He cant drive a car, so does it with his mouth. I have no idea why Toyota would be investing millions into a loser.

I like that Media Whore! That is true. When I read yesterday he bought that ride for Napa because of his sponsor bull$%^#! That was planned from the beginning! Derrick Cope never qualified so well at least in the past 7 or 8 years! Makes Waltrip look bad and all the bad publicity he got doesn't actually look good for Napa as well.

My thoughts exactly. It would be nice to believe that no respectable driver/team would hook up with a foreign car automaker, but when anyone throws bucket loaders full of money at you and you KNOW your driving abilities are marginal at best, you gotta run with it.
