Keslowski/DEJ Connection

A week after the scrape between Earnhardt and Kyle Busch, Keslowski takes Kyle Busch out of the race at Darlington during the Nationwide series.

Last night in Charlotte, Busch and Hamlin are 1st and 2nd, both team mates.

3rd and 4th are Keslowski and DEJ.

Keslowski is all over Hamlin like white on rice during the race and even goes so far as to drive up under Hamlin's rear bumper during the yellow flag with just a few laps to go.

So is Keslowski, DEJ's lackey? Sent out on the track to do DEJ's bidding.
Keslowski is all over Hamlin trying to get him to make a mistake which DEJ could capitalize on, putting him into 2nd or possibly in a position to take Busch out and then go for his coveted win.

PS
OK, enough with the throwing of cans and bottles out onto the track every time Kyle Busch wins.

I hope tonight, they have police stationed at the line so when the bottles go flying the batons can too. IMHO

I agree entirely with everything you say that comes after "PS."

The rest? You are kidding, right? I guess, though, that there is a contingent who will believe everything you laughingly alleged.

I'm having a real hard time with some of your statements, but for the record, Busch and Hamlin were not teammates last night. Busch was not in a Gibbs car.

I just heard something on SIRIUS this morning, Don. The aired the non-televised post race interview by Hamlin, when just the reporters were asking questions of the top three finishers.

Hamlin said something to the effect of, "I wasn't worried about being the car in front of me. Me main concern was making live tough for the guy behind me."

Sounds like one Toyota taking care of another Toyota to me? Just the type of thing you'd expect in Cup or F1, eh?

Re: Keslowski/DEJ Connection

My $64,000 question is when are the other teams going to step up to the way the Gibbs cars are playing the game these days? I heard Kyle B. say a couple of weeks ago in regard to another "young whipper snapper" something to the effect that if you take on the bull, you're going to get the horns. Come on guys that sounds like a threat to me. Are you whimps or race drivers?

Re: Keslowski/DEJ Connection

Brad Keslowski is young and just has a lot of maturing to do. His antics would not be tolerated at the Cup level. Did anybody notice that DEJ finally took a jab at Hamlin by hitting from behind during the yellow as well. Unlike Busch, Hamlin knows better than to do anything that would upset the Junior Nation.

Re: Keslowski/DEJ Connection

I don't think it will take long for other drivers or crew members to snap loose on eith Busch or Hamlin. I don't think it will be a Cup driver or crew member it will come from NWS. It is one thing for them to come in and steal wins from the NWS teams. It is another to do it and act like jerks. I don't see drivers like Keslowski and S Wallace backing down. Especially drivers that have their way paid to cup. Keslowski and Wallace will be in Cup one day with both their connections so they wont have to worry about burning down any bridges. Hell they might just build a few if one of them takes on Busch and Hamlin.

On a side note Busch and Hamlin can not be helping things out for JGR keeping Stewart. You think his friendship with Jr will now changes things a little bit.

The Nationwide series is NOT the "Cup level" of NASCAR. The visitors to the Nationwide series should understand that and act accordingly. That visitor I'm referring to is Denny Hamlin.

Hamlin is way too full of himself and I am proud of Dale Jr for showing his disapproval of Hamlin's antics. I think it is time for Jr. to step up and show some disapproval! Brad did nothing wrong. Hamlin thought Brad should bow to him because he was the more experienced driver. Bull crap!

I kind of think that it was because he [Hamlin] is a Cup driver and such "stars" are owed certain considerations (like rolling over and letting them beat you).

NA__AR has already set up and given tacit approval to one privileged group (The Chosen 35). They're doing the same thing by allowing the Cup teams and drivers to compete in BGN.

Keslowski drives into the back of Hamlin under a caution, how is that Hamlin's antics?

If anything it's Keslowski/Earnhardt jr antics.

Thats what I've been wondering. Brad hit Denny from behind under the caution, and it's Denny's fault? I don't think it had anything to do with one being in cup and the other not. I think it was one driver hitting another under caution and so that driver hit him back. When 2 cup drivers do it, what's the reason for it? Obviously it isn't because their in different series.
