Really, i don't know what to think anymore. I just read an article Stating that he wouldn't even think he could win this week. I Just wanna see him win.

Don't be alarmed. That's an old trick to put your competition to sleep.

Jeff Gordon will win a race (maybe several) this year. The pressure is on, and he knows it.

Trust me, Jeff hasn't forgotten how to win. Latarte and the rest of his team hasn't forgotten how to win. Jeff doesn't have the drive to win he had in 1994 but he's still got the talent and the drive.

The problem, as I see it, is that Hendrick didn't focus on the cookie-cutter tracks last year when they were working on the new car. They're behind the power curve.

I think that this year is a case of Tony Eury Jr. having more knowledge about how the new car relates to the cookie-cutter tracks than the rest of Hendrick. When the #'s 5,24 and 48 catch up, you can walk tall, with a song in your heart and love in your soul.

I agree with Biscuit and Bob. Jeff Gordon is not washed up. He will win some races and win them soon. Big boss, Rick Hendrick, will push this team to the front very soon. Hendrick has got his reputation to protect.

I'm a Gordo fan (shut it Q), he is no where near washed up, he hasn't won a race yet, he'll win at least two, maybe more races this year. Junior hasn't won this year, he is he washed up? What about Greg Biffle, Tony Stewart, Matt Kenseth, non have won, are they washed up? No. Jeff will be fine.

Right on the money Bob. Jimmie Johnson said exactly the same thing on Wind Tunnel a couple of weeks ago, when Despain asked what was wrong with the 24 and 48. If I'm not mistaken, they never ran the COT on those tracks last year, so they didn't focus on them.

That wasn't an original thought, my friend. I was "right on the money" because I've heard it from prople much more knowledgeable than myself. I've heard numerous people say the same thing on SIRIUS interviews.

I find it difficult to debate the logic of my elders.

Re: Can Jeff Win anymore?

i have a theory .... may be right or wrong .... but its just a theory

JG does not get the same thrill weekly as he used to .... he has been at it awhile and it just isnt the same

he has his eyes on a bigger prize .... the Cup .... and you dont get the Cup the same way you used to ...... going balls to the wall every week .... now you bide your time .... lie in wait ... turn laps in the shadows

im sure he wants to win races .... i just dont think it is his maindriving force anymore

Yes???? No???? Is daughter perhaps first NASCAR winning female? Could one, would one, at this point say never? Now there if ever would be the true ulterior motive.

Actually i cannot truly know of E Sr.'s motives. Some may, I can't. Not truly.

You might get to see him win, then again you may not.

Hey I have been unfairly targeted. It's not my fault you root for a driver that makes you such an easy target , or that you can't handle he doesn't have what he used to
