| Re: Can Jeff Win anymore? He really doesn't have any thing to prove. Given he's married and has a new baby, why tempts the fates of the nut jobs of the world. If you're winning all the time then a good portion of nascar fans probably hate you. Just look at Kyle Busch. You think if Kyle Busch was coming in 15th every race he'd be getting all this negative attention from the fans. I can only imagine the number of death threats these guys get. I'm with JG, race, have fun, make a ton of money, and lay low. Let kyle Busch get all the death threats.

| Re: Can Jeff Win anymore? Well guys, after a 3-in-a-row top 10 performance, i think jeff is turning his year around. and i mean it, if Jeff finishes 43rd at Texas then places 4th at lowes, you know he's improved! look for Gordon in the Top 10 this week!

this is no excuse for a professional racer... if this is the case then get out of racing and let someone who WANTS to win and will do whatever it takes to win in the car. I like all the NASCAR racers but I think Jeff needs to step it up a notch if he's going to get the respect he used to have.

Jeff Gordon is 10th in the NASCAR points standing. That is a pretty good measure of performance. To me, he is out-performing 55 other drivers. |

| Re: Can Jeff Win anymore? I agree with you that Jeff Gordon is one of the best driver's out there but when I saw the guy earlier trying to make excuses for the guy i thought it was pretty rediculous. There are a lot of driver's who aren't earning the wins like they used to. Tony Stewart, Dale Jr, Jimmie Johnson, and the list goes on. All are top drivers but none are dominating like they used to. |

| Re: Can Jeff Win anymore? Well guys i'm considering this: California is basically the same as MIS or is very similar to it, Which THEN would require the MIS car setup to be the same or very similar to a California race setup, Which makes me recall earlier this year, that at california it was Jeff's car that was unbeatable untill they were forced to race in the day and all the grip was washed away. So if i'm right, look for a dominating performance by Jeff Gordon at MIS unless we have another Monsoon here, i was in West Virginia at the time and missed it. |
