I could have sworn I heard DW make a prediction this week. Can't remember if it was in pre-race or on Trackside or where it was but did he say something about thinking Junior would still win 6 races this year????

Anyone have more on that?

Man, I would be all for it, but that is tough for ANYONE to do this day and age. Especially for someone trying to come off a long non-winning streak.

Actually, he made that prediction at the beginning of the year. Lately though, people are starting to ask him if he still thinks it. He keeps saying yes, but I'm not sure why. Still trying to be optimistic, I suppose.

DW finally "outed" himself this past week when he said to Junior, live on the air "I'm pulling for ya." He's part of the Junior Nation and he'll keep saying 6 until there aren't enough races left to make that number.

I won't stick my neck out any farther than to say "he'll get a win." I'm convinced there are problems on that team that only a personnel change will fix.

And as sentimental as DW's gotten lately, just imagine how he's gonna react if Junior gets his win while he's still in the broadcast booth?

Yeah, you can tell he is a huge junior fan by the way he talks every time he takes the lead.

I would have to agree, one win is do-able. 6 wins man, there would be rioting going on.

I wouldn't mind seeing him win 6 races but I don't see that happening. Right now I'm just hoping for 1 win.
