Pit Selection

I know that the better you quafliy the better choice you have for your pit selection.
I was just wandering if you were a driver which pit spot would u choose and why?

I would select the very frist pit spot as you come onto pit road.
I would choose this spot because you would be one of the first to be already in the pits and i think if you had a good crew you could make up some serious track postion.

Re: Pit Selection

I think which pit stall you want varies with the track. There are tight pit lanes and easy ones. I'm always fascinated by the discussion about it.

Re: Pit Selection

Hey, 3829, thats a good question! I agree! I think I would always pick the first pit stall! Why not! You can speed to get the lead and there's no speeding tix you can get! Sorry with the exclamation points! Lilsexy08 started it!

Re: Pit Selection

It depends on the track. I would choose a box closest to the entrance to the garage. You would have no one in your way when leaving.

Re: Pit Selection

Pit selection is just another of the many little things that teams do to try and better themselves as far as getting back off pit lane. Pitting behind someone who you know will be a lap down right away or even out of the race (Derek Cope) is also a good choice in the event you don't qualify well enough to get the primes spot(s).

Re: Pit Selection

You like my exclamation points! LOL! Anyway I would choose the first pit stall, have a better chance of not loosing your spot on the track if your pit crew has anything to do with it!

Now that's a good point I hadn't thought of.

Re: Pit Selection

i had never thought of that either.
Thats sounds like the best way to get some track position back while on pit road.
