Robbie Gordon crashed in this afternoon's practice session at Darlington. He went to a backup car and got it through tech inspection just in time for a qualifying run just prior to 7:00 pm tonight. His first laps was enough to make the show. Rather than slow down and stop as did most smart drivers did earlier, he elected to try a second lap and lost control between turns 3 and 4. His car banged the wall pretty hard. His crew will have to work all night to get his car ready for tomorrow night.

They were taking 2nd laps in Busch also even though the 1st one got them in.
