Re: Kyle vs Dale revisited

I just won't put one in bedroom cause i'd be up all night watching it. My puter is in bedroom. And since I'm having to work right now , I can't be in the other room watching.

I think we're just right. The TV in the bedroom is really more to have it on for noise when I'm in the "office". Which is a spare room upstairs where the comp is!

I never turn to TV on when I'm in bed, and only sometimes turn it on when I'm getting ready for work, for weather and traffic!

Re: Kyle vs Dale revisited

Kyle and Dale are probably back at NASCAR HQ eating M&M's & drinking Amp while playing video games discussing how much money they will both make over this publicity and laughing all the way to the bank.

If not, then I'm sure multi millionare DEJ won't loose much sleep over it, although he may loose sleep from those late nights counting his money.

Remember Junior fans, DEJ will always make more money loosing races than Kyle Busch ever will winning races.

somehow that didn't come out right .. makes it sound like he's intentionally not winning (there are some who actually subscribe to that theory!)

Re: Kyle vs Dale revisited

I don't know what it is with DEJ. Maybe he's trying to hard to live up to his father's lagacy. I wish I could just shake the guy and tell him to wake up. He's mega rich, he has a loyal fan following who love him weather he wins or looses, he just needs to stop trying to win at all and tell himself that next week end he's just going to go out and race just for the fun of it. When he does that, that's the day he'll win. And one other thing, I'd tell him to stop being so dang depressed all the time, the guy looks like he's always on the verge of tears. DEJ you're not the only loser out there every weekend, you have 41 other drivers keeping you company.

Heck if any body should be depressed it's Kyle Busch. He got kicked off the HMS team, he's the most unpopular driver who was replaced by the most popular driver at HMS, he wins all the time, and everybody boo's him. He just keeps hitting the track, kicking ass and taking names later.

By the way, this weekend, I thought it was kinda funny that the Kyle Busch and Dale Earnhardt Jr merchandise trailers are right next to each other, here in Darlington.

There's a lot of truth to that. Trying too hard is one of the most common causes of failure in any sport.
Junior just needs to relax, find his zone, do his thing and just let the win come to him instead of chasing after it.

I know Jr. fans won't want to hear this but, that is exactly what Kyle does, he goes out drives the wheels off his cars and has fun. That is just what Kyle does and it's why he is so good.

There are some fine lines having fun, driving good and what he is doing. Yes he does go for the win and that I admire and respect ... but he needs to mature a little. He opens his mouth and controversy spews out. In that respect he has crossed the line. Winners at some point become the hated drivers because they win to often. Kyle has won and to prove he is good he has at one point lead all three series. A little humility goes a long way. He hasn't matured enough yet to have any humility.

you're right, but he is better than last year .. in the maturity dept. but he still puts himself into tight spots when a bit more caution would serve him well.

Re: Kyle vs Dale revisited

I remember a time a long time ago in a place far far away when I was just 23. I both did and said my fair share of stupid things.

Sometimes i think we are holding these young drivers to a higher standard than we even hold the older drivers too.

I don't hear anybody saying Tony Stewart or Carl Edwards needs to mature yet they do and say stupid things like Kyle.

We all love to hate Kyle.

I'd love to see him come out at driver introductions tonight in Darlington wearing a black cape and eye mask. DEJ could wear a white cowboy hat.

NASCAR fans would go crazy and it would show a sense of humor on the drivers part not to take this stuff so seriously especially so early in the season.
