He said he did it to keep from messing up his car and having a dnf. Now whats to stop the next driver having tire trouble to stop on the track and bring out a caution instead of messing theirs up or going a lap down?

My impression is that you are saying that he did it to create a caution. Now when Jr did it he admitted to it. Denny has admitted to nothing along those lines but you are are saying that is why he did it. If that is your opinion then fine ... I understand you. If you are saying it is fact, I ask if there is a verifiable source to collaborate your statement. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just asking for verification of facts or is it your opinion ?

Personally I do not know why he did it. I haven't seen any official admission to it. It may be out there ... I just haven't seen it.

Ok, Its my opinion. I watched the race & I belive thats why he did it. Other cars that have flats take there lap around the track & then Pit. Thats a fact if you watch racin. What Denny did was disrespectfull to all drivers & fans unless you like Denny.

I don't know if there will be, but when Jr. caused one in 2004 he got docked 25.

There was no penalty cause they held him a couple of laps. Jr was docked points and fined because after he spun he got on his radio and told them he spun himself out cause he needed a caution.
