Knowing how it ended, I'd love to go back and pay more attention to the race Bowyer ran. Being in position at the end like that, to take advantage of what went down... had to have been good driving on his part, but he was so quiet for most of the race, it'd be fun to go back and just keep an eye on the race he ran.
Considering Bowyer started back in 31st, he had a phenomenal run. He pulled a 'Matt Kenseth'*... starting towards the back of the pack, then suddenly 'where the heck did HE come from??'. I have to give a lot of props to Gil Martin and the 07 Over The Wall gang... they kept Clint steadily marching towards the front. Mad props to his spotters too for keeping him out of the wrecks.

The RCR boys did great Saturday night. Even Jeff Burton getting involved in that one wreck didn't stop him from finishing at 11th. He may have lost his points lead, but he's still doing well.

*Sadly, Matt Kenseth needs to start pulling a 'Matt Kenseth' a LOT... poor guy can't even buy a break right now.

Re: Crown Royal Presents the Dan Lowry 400 Observations

My obervations go as followed:

**BLab runs like crap all night, but has a top 15 fininsh. Not because he battled back. I mean he did, but I wonder if there werent so may cars wreck where he actually might have finished. I think some where between 20th and 25th.

**The controversy to end the night was just that controversy. Wether KB turned into Jr or vice versa the only thing certain is that it was a racing incident.

**The real ahole move of the night was actually by KB's teammate Hamlin. Man talk about sour grapes. Everytime I'm starting to think he his getting his act together he does something to prove he is just an internet racing nerd. NO OFFENSE to real internet racing nerds out there. That move of his was something out of NR03.

**When did Stewart become the level headed one on JGR? Gibbs better pony up to keep him , because if he leaves then there goes JGR's rep.

All that said What Mikey did was just stupid. Parking him was the appropriate action and maybe it should be for more than one race. I did not see the race but what are the possible safety ramifications for doing what he did ??? What if Casey's car had caught on fire or if something had happened that would have injured Casey due to Waltrips anger. Being upset is one thing but doing what he did seems to be more than just being upset. On the highway we call that road rage.
And if that "accident' caused by learner.....(well he looked like he had a learners licence) happened on the highway Mr Mears or Hendrick would be paying for Casey's reckless driving instead of MWR

while I agree, and so tonight on Tv did Michael that he shouldnt have done it....because he lost it......these are exactly the kind of emotions that people say is lacking in NASCAR these days.

Tonight Michael said..........."you cant fix stupid" in reference to himself....I hope I got that right

Isn't it refreshing that there's a driver who doesn't duck the spotlight and is honest enough to publicly say what he did was stupid, but in the heat of the moment? Mikey gets a + and a - for this week - he definitely needs to work on getting more +'s than -'s...but at least he sees the problem.
