people if you ever plan on going to dega don`t waste your money its like being in school and having to ask to go to the restroomif you plan on going anyway don`t camp anywhere near the track and have everything you need before you get there I emailed everyone at the track and have not got a response from them here is the same email I sent them and alittle of what happen

for over 10 years I have been coming to both races at talladega for about the past 5 years we have camped in the north park well over the past 3 years the police have harrassed the people but never like they did this year our signs we put up every year the police made us take them down the flags we put up every year were a problem we have 2 rebel flags on the ends and 2 american flags beside them and then a jr flag in the middle that was about 2 ft higher than the other flags the police said "no flag can fly higher than the american flag lower the jr flag or go to jail" note the flags were on pvc and not over the park height rules
now the signs we took signs down when horse police asked us to the signs were laying on the ground beside the bus you could hardly see the signs a patrol car came by got out walked over and looked at the signs and told me that I had already been warned and he was going to take me to jail for not getting rid of signs so then i got the signs and carried inside that was just a start of it about 6 pm on friday we start to the store i climb on back of the truck and 2 other guys are in the front 2 police stop on diffrent ends of our camp site and wait on us to pull out as we pull out one pulls up and tells us no riding on back of truck so I get up front he drives off the other blue light us and tells us to go back to our site no riding in the camp grounds next time truck would be impounded till monday and he follows us all the way back to our camp so we start cooking with what we have and a few of us are playing cards and the rest are standing around the table waiting to play and watching the police pull back up to our camp and ask what we are doing by this time they have really got on my nerves nobody says anything to them we act like they aren`t even there well he gets out of his car and walks over to us and tell us to get moving i look at him and tell him they need to make up their minds they told us we couldn`t leave our site now you telling us to get moving he pants and then tells us all to have a seat im still trying to hold my cool but I tell him hes gonna have to take me to jail im not a dog and hes not giving me orders like that he pants and gets in his car and leaves then again saturday night its raining we have two old school buses we fixed up just to bring to the races the horse police comes to one of the buses we all on and tells us to break it up or he will have our bus impounded I told him I owned the bus and all the people on the bus was with us and I couldn`t stop him from impounding it but he was gonna need a big wrecker because it had two flat tires and I closed the window back and kept playing cards thats just a few of the things alot of the people at sites around us went to jail and had more serious problems then us
we had 16 people that went to the races with us this year that was down from the past few years we would have 25 or more in the past years one was a lawyer that went home saturday morning because the way the police where acting one was my dad that also went home for the same reason and one was my sister that also left for the same reason so then i had 3 tickets that wasn`t used I talked to thousands of people about the issue and they all said they would not return next race or even next year all my group will not return next race or next year maybe nascar will pull on of the races from talladega and give it to another track where we can enjoy ourselfs please fell free to give me a call if you have any questions

You camped in the wrong place. We camp in West C every year and it is an absolute free for all. Go there and you should have a better time.
