Richmond NW Winner Denny Hamlin has now claimed the victory he has waited a long time for. Tonight he won the Nationwide race at Richmond VA. Denny grew up in Chesterfield, VA just 15 minutes away. Mom, Dad and several family members were in the stands tonight to see Denny win at his home track. Congratulations Denny.

Re: Richmond NW Winner Unfortunately Kyle said a whole bunch of stupid things during his interview. I'm sure NASCAR will enjoy their talk with him over this race. I couldn't hardly understand a word Wallace was saying. I think he made a big mistake grabbing Kyle's helmet. I'm sure it was more about emotions than anything else but none the less he'll pay for that dumb move.

Wallace tried to turn Busch with 2 to go and Busch came back like the wunderkind (definition: A person of remarkable talent or ability who achieves great success or acclaim at an early age.) he is and regained the spot! It was an awesome demonstration of driving skill on Busch's part! What I really like about the whole thing is Kyle could have easily turned Wallace but didn't! He just dove underneath and made the pass with 1 to go! Now, what I like about Wallace is his attitude and refusal to be upstaged by a star like Busch! Busch walked over to the #66, stuck his head into the window and summarily got grabbed! Good soap opera drama stuff! (Either that or Wallace is too dim-witted to know better...)

They were both acting like immature idiots post race. Wallace sounded like the fast forward button got stuck. Grabbing Busch's helmet was uncalled for. I say put 'em both in a boxing ring and let 'em duke it out for a few rounds. The one that could've gotten royally screwed in the whole deal was David Ragan since he was caught in the middle of that last lap scuffle.

Re: Richmond NW Winner Too funny. I couldn't quite come up with a reasonable description of what he sounded like but that was definitely it. I've never much cared for his father so with this show of intelligence I can see that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Mike is the only one I really care for and he just doesn't play the game very well.

Re: Richmond NW Winner Fortunately, I was able to record the racing incident with 2 to go, the helmet-grabbing and, most precious of all, the post-race interview with the Wallace kid! Not only did it sound like he was stuck on fast-forward, it appeared that he said it all ON ONE BREATH!!! I mean once that kid got started, he just literally took off and forgot to breathe! Can you imagine what it would be like if his uncle Kenny Wallace interviewed this guy? Not only would you not be able to understand either fellow, no one would be able to get a word in edgewise!

Re: Richmond NW Winner I forgot all about the race, so missed it all. But I did a quick Youtube search and found the ending, and Wallace/Busch confrontation......... YouTube - 2008 Lipton Tea 250 Finish/Busch vs. Wallace

Re: Richmond NW Winner Now after watching the video, LSC I see what you meant about the possible penalty. I understand it now. Unlike Kyle if someone was to grab and snatch on something attached to my head like that, I would've went through the window on them.
