Ok, I'm a total Kyle Busch fanboy.

This is only my second year as a NASCAR fan.

Last year, I kind of rooted for Toyota in general, mostly in futility. I was new to NASCAR, Toyota was new to NASCAR.... I figured I'd become a Toyota fan.

So this year Toyota hands me Joe Gibbs Racing, which also brings on Rowdy Busch.

And this year... Kyle rocks. My only complaint is that he's a bit of a martyr. I've heard him complaining about his teammates not backing him up... and I heard him complain about the same thing last year at Hendrick.

He should just suck it up and keep racing. In a couple of years, Shrub may be recognized as the #1 racer at Gibbs, whether Stewart is still there or not. Maybe that's part of why Tony wants out?

I do have one other complaint. I visited a local NASCAR souvineer store, and they didn't have any #18 M&M's stuff. I just wanted a cap, but they tell me they haven't come in yet. I had to settle for a Tony hat. Oh well.

Re: Ok, I'm a total Kyle Busch fanboy.

ya seem to be catching on pretty fast, measure. keep at it and pretty soon you'll be "instructing" the newbies...

re: Rowdy. yes he complains, but I suspect not without reason. Hamlin dumped him twice in the early part of the race Sunday, then blocked him from his pits causing him to go a lap down. That's not very teammate friendly, is it? he's young and sometimes says things publicly he should save for private, but that's part of being young and growing up. and he's grown a lot this past year. as I've said several times recently, his actions this year are nothing like how he would have acted last year .. he's more controlled and focused. maybe that's the Coach, or he's growing up, or both. whatever, he's winning fans by taking the higher road, something he seldom did last year.

re: #18 garb. there's some at Kyle Busch NASCAR Diecast, Hats and Shirts
(that's the JGR store .. Kyle's website sends you there when you click on merchandise.)
