Considering that Jeff has been in it going on 17 years now and Kyle for going on 5 years now, and the fact that they both won their first road course in their 5th year, I'd say he's right on par with Jeff.

Not to mention that he's racing against bona-fide Open Wheel Champions to boot. I believe he also won in Mexico.
Gotta give credit where it's due.

P.S. J-man24fan, please don't "edit" my wording in your future quotes...many thanks.

Don't confuse this youngster with any facts.

for reference, i didn't "edit" your wordin, i was commenting on what you said, with sarcasm nothing wrong with that

Bona-fied open wheelers? seriously... they suck driving a stock car. i don't think you can call Kyle good for beating open wheelers when they struggle at something they shouldn't be driving. just becaused they are open wheelers DOESNT qualify them as the worlds best...

Lesson Time: When you become so myopic that you can't focus beyond a single driver, you leave yourself wide open to critical analyzation.
"Bonn-fied open wheelers? seriously... they suck driving a stock car" (Your quote, used only as an example)... May I remind you, before others do, that your boy, Jeff, was a "Bona fide open wheeler," prior to his running stock cars? I, personally, would call a guy who had a USAC Midget Rookie of the year and the USAC Triple Crown Championships in his resumé kind of bona fide.

So, taking your statement in mind, I guess you would agree if I were to say that, as a stock car driver, Jeff Gordon "sucks?" Kind of silly, eh?

Being blindly faithful to one entity to the detriment of all other competitors in forums such as this is kind of like teaching a pig to dance. All that is usually accomplished is that it just pisses off the pig.

But didn't one of them, Montoya, win that race last year, OMG in his first year in Nascar? Guess that makes him one of the non "they suck" open wheelers.

Just so we all understand the first quote was not an exact copy of what was posted. If we are going to "quote" please quote as written or not at all. Portions of a quote are acceptable but changes to or within the quote are not. This is not acceptable without permission from the original poster.

Re: Is Kyle Busch the next "KING" of nascar?

While we are on the subject of open wheelers winning in NASCAR, I do believe that AJ Foyt and Mario Andretti won a few cup races as well.

And lets not forget that Tony Stewart is/was an IRL Champ before coming to Stock cars!

Should we go on, because we can.

Oh...be real! He`s more like a court jester! He`s entertaining, but he`s no king. I`ll wait to see the seven championships and 200 wins before I consider attending his coronation!

no, it's possible .. when NASCAR begins scheduling 50-60 races a year in Cup... There's a lot of dirt tracks that used to have the big boys on a regular basis that'd love to see them show up again! 'Course they'd hve to haul in folding chairs from the local church to get much more than 2500 folks a place to sit...
