Kyle's cup equipment has nothing to do with his CTS success. He's driving for a totaly different team. And it's a team that I don't consider to be a top tier team. NWS can say some of it is based on the fact that he has JGR eqiuipment.
Take Harvick as an example. Yes he's real good in the NWS, in Childress equipment, but not so good in his own.

You don't think so? KB has been driving for the same CTS team for the past couple of years now. Do you find it a coincidence that the year KB moves into a Yota in Cup his CTS team switches too? His CTS ride may not be tied directly to JGR, but it is tied to his Cup program. You don't think that TRD isn't giving him the best equipment in Cup, NWS, and CTS?

Re: Is Kyle Busch the next "KING" of nascar?

I believe there's two things at work that's pushing Shrub to the top of the heap:
  1. The Coach is back.
  2. Kyle's a year older.
No one can dispute the value of having The Coach in your corner, helping you get/keep your head straight and motivating you to "go out and win"!

And, most will recognize that sometime between the ages of 18 and 25, most males start maturing. With that comes less "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!" and more "Play smarter, not harder!"

I wouldn't be surprised to see him become "The Dominator."

Will there be lapses? Probably .. it goes with learning/improving.

Will he be successful? Again, probably .. but time is the final arbiter.
