Bobby Labonte Represents General Mills

Wow! Did I discover a potential conflict. Bobby Labonte recently formed a marketing group called Breaking Limits late last year. The prime client that Breaking Limits represents is General Mills. See Breaking Limits.

Now, if I were at Petty Enterprises and person responsible for taking my prime sponsor away from me is none other than my prime driver.... I don't know if i would be working very hard to sign him up for another year.

Watching Speed today they keep saying that the offer from PE is on the table.

Very interesting indeed. It makes me wonder if, despite what Childress says, there is something more going on with Labonte and the #33.

Re: Bobby Labonte Represents General Mills

The fact that Bobby didn't denie the move to RCR and said he didn't want to focus on his future tells me he is leaving. If he were staying at PE and just ironing out the deal then he would be saying that. If he just wanted to focus on the 43 and he was planning on staying at the 43 then why not just come out and put the rumors to rest.

B Lab fans don't worry. I can't wait for next year either.

Yep, he is driving one of RCR's Nationwide cars today, Labonte to RCR appears to be a done deal.
