It pains me to type his name, but the idiot finally pulled his head out of his as* and did something nice. Personally, I think he's trying to win over some fans. "Hey, if he can donate that, he must be a nice guy. I think I will quit booing him and start cheering for him. He's a good guy". Uh, no. Not me. Never happen. His ear improvement surgery didn't score him any points, so he stepped it up a notch.

But seriously, I don't give big amounts, can't afford it but I have donated 3 or 4 times to Victory Junction. They need all the help they can get. If you go to their website, they also post items you can buy and send them that they need, like disposable cameras.

I'm not fan of K.B. but you have to respect him for that. I assure you he could have found a better way to try to win fans...that was not his motivation. Way to go Kurt.

I certainly respect him for his donation, but that is all. He is still a pain in the *** and probably always will be. He just doesn't see that he has an attitude that is undesireable to most fans. He is the type of sports personality that I wouldn't try to get an autograph from.

I think he did it to win people over. I recently read an article about Kyle donating money to Katrina victims last year and he said that he was "disappointed" that a big deal wasn't made out of it. Giving is great. But it should not be done for the recognition.

I think kurt is really trying. I have my favorite driver, and I'm not going to change, but I think Kurt has been a gentelman this year with all the trash talk. And y'all know who I mean. Everyone is entitled to a second chance. Their are other drivers I have more of a grudge against then Kurt. Might be something to think about.

Personally I think the Victory Junction Gang is a wonderful idea by a great family. Now for Busch changing ..... only time will tell. Tony changed last year only to come back at Daytona and allow his anger to take over again. To me both the Busch boys are arrogant and act as though they above and better than the rest. When they make some long term, visable changes then maybe the public will view them as they want to be viewed. How would you feel if your local pizza delivery driver had an attitude like theirs ? You'd be buying your pizza's from someone else. Same with racing .... I'll throw my loyalty to someone I feel is more deserving and less self centered.
