I'm sure it was at General Mills request. Maybe even RCR. If anything I'm sure it have to do with investors, shareholders, ect... The move could have been announce to bump up sales, interest, ect... You would be surprise some of the reasons behind things in the business world.

I GUARANTEE that anybody who was about to partner with PE or anyone who was looking to sponsor the other car etc....knows exactly who will be the sponsor next year.

Comapnies don't sink that much money in a name only without knowing ahead of time what is involved.
