| Stewart gotta say we are all lucky that it was Harvick who took him out. I'd say if it was anyone else except maybe Junior Stewart would of let them have it in ther interview. I used to like Stewart a lot more than I do and I quit liking him because of his complaining but i will give him this a lot does happen to him. Oh well GO JR. Also, is it me or is Denny Hamlin a dead ringer for Glen from Talladega Nights? |

| Re: Stewart I think Tony's rather sarcastic response to the question about his being put out by Kevie ("I gave him enough room but I'm sure somehow it's my fault. So, I'll go on and say I'm sorry.") says a lot about where Tony is in his relationship to this entire Series in particular and NA__AR in general. I'll be one surprised guy if Tony is racing full time in Cup after next season. BTW, how did you like that idiotic "Are you disappointed that you got spun out and didn't win?" question Burns lobbed at him. Sometimes this reporters make DW look like a mental giant!

| Re: Stewart Tony just had a bad hair day. And, evidently the spotters were leading the compliant brigade. When FOX interviewed Tony, it after they had interviewed Harvick and Harvick said "I just lost it". Even the FOX booth had several video shots that pointed out that Harvick got his left front tire onto the asphalt and that caused him to lose control of his car. FOX should have mentioned to Tony in their interview about Harvick's just minutes earlier. And, yeah.... I'm a FOX basher. |

Perhaps that would have been the proper place for the sarcasm, no?...maybe its just a question of where he sprinkles it then??? |

Almost makes the post race more like "tabloid TV". |

| Re: Stewart You know Phil you may be correct but I honestly believe that todays journalists (and I use that term very loosely here) know nothing. They cannot think beyond stupid questions like that. It is the quick and simple question to ask and I really believe they have no idea just how dumb the question really is. It would be interesting to have them look at the tape and then ask them why they would ask such a foolish question. I'd bet that most of them would be lost for an answer. |

I have always wanted someone to "call em out" when they ask a dumb question. Even a couple of weeks ago, when Funny Car driver Tony Pedrogon blew the body off, caught on fire, and hit the wall, they asked him "What was that like"? What do they think it was like? Space Mountain??? I wonder what they teach these folks?? "is that the hardest impact you've ever had?" "did that hit take your breath away?" "Would you do anyting different?" Wow, with insightful questions like that, it's a wonder we ever learn anything! |

Also I don't think the "well I guess it is my fault so I'll go ahead and say sorry" comment was towards Harvick. I think it was more directed towards the media and fans that dislike him. He knew the situation and he knew Harvick didn't do it on purpose. |

| Re: Stewart Quote:
"How does it feel...?" "Do you think...?" "Did you see...?" "Tell us about what..." All pretty stock questions asked with a irritating frequency. If you want a good example of the lack of range these guys have, listen to MRN do the qualifications. They feel like they have to interview every driver in the top 35 and MRN's Steve Post is typical. Driver "X", not noted for his qualifying, will go out and cut a mediocre but adequate lap. When he climbs out of the car, Post will stick the mike in his face and ask, in 30% of the cases, "Tell us about your lap." "Well, Steve, I drove into the corner, let up a second, turned left, hit the gas, went down the back straight, backed off, turned left, hit the gas..." Get my point? A lot of the time all these reporters do is give us meaningless time filler with their interviews. Could I do better? Not on your life. But then, I'm not a professional, trained media-type. I know it's a lot harder than it looks. But I do expect these guys to put a little more thought into their interviews. |

| Re: Stewart For fear of getting my head handed to me ... Harvick admitted that it was his fault. I don't like him, but at least he admitted it. I couldn't quite make out what he was saying about the spotters, but it certainly wasn't favorable. Typical Harvick. As for Tony, yes, what a stupid question! Do we really want to know how it feels to be taken out? Isn't it obvious? His comment indicating that he would somehow be blamed doesn't surprise me. No matter what the guy does, he's always the villain. I sure wanted him to win that race, but was very happy when Burton took it!
