The above post was posted on 4 3 8. On Friday after work I went over, but they already called it a day, certainly don't blame them!!!! When I was over yesterday, they were working. Dwight, the owner of A.C.I. composites, took me back inside Miles the Monster and took my picture of where I signed it on Thursday, 4 3 8, they said now I have proof that I signed it. They also told me that I'm a VIP. Everybody else they are keeping back.

Cool Re: Birth photos of Dovers Miles the Monster composite

Hey everybody, sorry for the delay in posts!! Seems like all of a sudden everything has to become a problem!! First thing that happened, is the batteries in the camera died in the middle of taking photos of Miles the Monster and I didn't realize that the camera "defaulted" to time/date of cameras date of orgin. So, photos from 4 7 8 and 4 8 8 are dated 1 1 98 and 1 2 98, I apologize, I'm not sure how to or even if I can change the dates on them, but I know it sure did and still does Piss me off!! At any rate, my husband said, "Well, everybody knows that isn't possible." But I'm still not thrilled about it, but it is what it is. Having problems with the computer and now both my husband and I have both "caught" some cold or bug. At any rate, here are some new photos for your viewing!!

Does that foam have a mixture polyfiberglass in it?

The fiberglass crew!! Rodney, Sean and Travis!! I'm not positive, but I believe that Sean is the one with the spraygun of fiberglass with Rodney and Travis smoothing out the fiberglass just sprayed on Miles.

It's Brian in the "paint suit", Rodney in the green shirt (Eagles) with Sean in the black and Travis in the white shirt respectively. If I find out that I have it wrong I will make amends. Rodney told me their names after some prodding!! Then he wanted to know if I was putting it on the internet, I told him I was putting it on GoTeamsGo.com. It sounded like he was interested in checking it out. Hopefully, if he checks in, he will join us and tell us what it is/was like to be a part of the Making of Miles!! I'm sure each of these guys have got a great story to tell us about their perspective of their part of the birth of Miles the Monster composite.

That would be totally cool!! If they do, it might not be until after the project when they have some time!! According to Dwight, the owner of A.C.I. composites, they are looking at the end of next week for Miles to be leaving his birth place of Lancaster, Pa to his home in Dover, De. I'm hoping to be able to get some more good action shots for everybody. I'm going to miss alot!! I know that he will be painted down there, but that stands to reason as he will show up in Dover in pieces!! I've never seen anything like this done, it is totally spectacular. As well, I'm an artist, but the scale and nature of the project is outrageous!! I'm thrilled to be able to be close up!! I told my husband that "For me, to be able to watch this project evolve is as cool as it would have been to watch Micheanglo Bounarroti paint the Sistine Chapel!!" Or a host of other artists and their projects.
How about it STEELPHOENYX!?!? I know that you know what I'm saying from an artist stand point but you also WELD!!

Will and Phils, I will try to let you know when Miles the Monster is enroute!!
