I couldn't have done it without all those guys kindness!! I'm glad to share with everybody. Clutch, I know it will probably be awhile until you have the opportunity to go see Miles, being in New Zealand.

Hey shadow, welcome to our forum. I'm in Lancaster, so we are a hop, skip and jump away from each other. Will you be going to the track next week? I'm going down on May 31st. Glad that you enjoyed the photos of Miles the Monsters birth. It was incredible to watch the guys make him into the monster that he is today!! Very impressive!!!! Hope to see you throughout the forum, as you can see there are pages of threads for just about every sport. Glad to see your pick in the predictions thread!!
P.S. - Is your profile photo of you on your bike?

Re: Birth photos of Dovers Miles the Monster composite

Hi Team Yates,
Ya my profile photo is me setting on my new shadow (hence the name). I like Yates Racing . . . . particularly Kvapil. I have a picture of me standing beside his #32 Tide ride in 2005 at Dover. (he didn't drive for Yates then but that's when I started following his career). He did pretty good for Roush last year in the #6 truck. Not planning on going down to the Mile this year, although we do have tickets for Pocono in August.

I've been a Yates fan "forever", and will continue to be as long as I live. That's great that you will be heading to Pocono. But, if you get the chance to take a day cruise on your bike sometime, you should go check out Miles the Monster. He is totally spectacular, seeing him in photos just doesn't quite do him justice. Don't get me wrong, all the photos are great to see/have, but to actually walk up and see just how massive Miles is, is simply out of this world!!

I wonder what happened to the camera!! It looks like somebody turned it to face in towards the track, but you only see a small portion. Somebody fix the camera, PLEASE!!!!! Joe are you still checking in?!?

Actually a day trip to Dover on the Bike sounds like a good idea!!!! Just won't happen this weekend. I know what that traffic is like and I don't want to have anything to do with it. But now you got me thinking about a nice little trip.

Yeah, the traffic will be crazy!! But we will be braving it on Saturday!! We won't be on the bike, we'll be in the car, I don't think I'd want to be on a bike on race weekend, but then I could be wrong. Either way, a nice day trip on the bike sounds like a plan!!

Nope. My bike MIGHT go down there today, but forget Saturday and Sunday.

Dover must the the least organized of the tracks I've been to for the traffic!

And the damn casino gets most of the black top parking as well. Unless you are VERY early, count on parking in the dirt. The weather here is supposed to be dry today and tomorrow, so at least it won't be mud.

Last time I went to Loudon it honestly took us longer to get out of the parking lot than it did to watch the race !!! Over 4 1/2 hours. I'll take the recliner from now on.
