Ready to roll out.
The game plan was to leave at 9:00am this am, I didn't get any photos of Miles the Monster leaving his birth county.

It's all over in Lancaster, PA for Miles the Monster, except for the clean up.

Glad you like the camera. The trucks got down here about 12pm this afternoon and had everything unloaded off of the trucks by 3pm. Construction of the monster begins bright and early at 8am on Monday morning and weather permitting, they should be complete Monday night. We'll keep the camera on as long as DelDOT allows us ... it's really one of their traffic cameras that they allowed us to use for the time being.

Here's a link to our website that has the video footage and new shots from this afternoon. I hope to update this again on Mon., Tues and so on.

All my thanks to all the guys at ACI for making me feel welcome every day that I came over to take photos of them working their butts off on a massive scale!! All the guys did a GREAT job!!

Team ACI kicks some monster butt!!

Thanks everybody for letting me share in the once in a lifetime experience. I have alot of memories and photos(LOL)!!
I didn't post all the photos I took.

Something else I almost forgot share: the one photo I posted of me in front of Miles the Monster - my husband made an enlargement (8 1/2 by 11) for me and all the guys signed it!! The entire experience was extremely cool, but the fact that they would sign my photo was exceptional. Right up there with them making me a VIP and letting me sign Miles the Monster!! I hope everybody has enjoyed the journey that I was able to share with you.

I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity. What a wonderful invention: digital cameras, I think I took close to 400 photos, some sort of duplicates from other angles. My husband said "I'm glad it's not film!"

I'm awed that the guys from Dover have been following the thread. I'm glad that they liked the thread enough to continue watching whatever was posted. And that they joined us!! Just spectacular that they hooked us up with links to new photos from Dover and of course the live feed camera!!!! Once again, I want to say THANK YOU to Dover speedway and to DelDot. I try to keep googling Miles the monster to see where we are listed in the links, it usually stays near the top of the page. But check out what I found today from you tube!! I was there that day!! It was the afternoon before Dovers media day at ACI composites!! Theres a shot on the video where Kelly, Steve and Brian all posed, that was when I asked them to pose for me, they did and the reporter as well got it on video. Check out post #53. I was there the entire time, he even got me on video.
