Birth photos of Dovers Miles the Monster composite

Hey guys,

Joe from the track in Dover. Great pictures and comments on here ... we've been keeping up with things in Lancaster through some of the shots posted on here ... thanks! I see people are getting upset that the monster has left Lancaster -- no long faces! I have good news!

We have a live camera set here at the track to capture the assembly of the Monster Monument here at the track on Monday, April 28. The ACI team is scheduled to begin bright and early on Monday and you can see it all by clicking here

Or, log on to DoverSpeedway.com and click the "Monster Monument video" at the bottom of the homepage. The camera is live now, and will be throughout the weekend, and will be focused on the site all day on Monday.

Also, yes, all of the plaques are on the walk of fame, pavers are being installed around the monument for the new Victory Plaza area, and the FanZone paving is complete.

I'm from right up the road in Smyrna, and can't wait to come down to see the beast in person.

The new area looks great so far, I'm looking forward to seeing it complete!

Thanks Phils!! I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to witness the birth of Miles the Monster!! Totally awesome to watch the sculpture evolve into a massive work of art from steel beams, steel rods, "chicken wire", burlap, foam and fiberglass. A once in a lifetime experience!! When he is completed he is going to be AWESOME!! I already he think is!!

Great to hear from you!! Glad to hear you found our forum and have been joining in with us and keeping up with the Lancaster end. As far as the "long faces" that was only me. That is only because almost/every day I went to "visit" and now it's all over in Lancaster. Its not like I didn't know it would come to an end, I knew it would. It was just a little bit of a bummer to say bye to Miles!! Have no fear, I will be down to see him, the plan is come down May 31st (maybe before)

!! I can't wait to see Miles the Monster completed.

How wonderful of you to share with us the live feed!! That is totally GREAT!! I can't thank you enough for the wonderful addition to our thread!! I was bummed because of all that I would miss down there, but you have taken care that. I get to still see Team ACI in action!! I'll be watching every chance I get!!
I also want to say Thank you for building us a "real life" monster.

How long will the live feed be on?!? All through the entire process?!?
