Darlington Strips!

When I was watching the race Sat., I was so tired of hearing about how many times they kept talking about who and when the drivers would hit the wall! I'm more concerned about the race and not how many times the drivers hit the wall!

Re: Darlington Strips!

Each and every track has something unique about it. If they didn't, then what would DW have to talk about besides the boggity thing.

You know, I usually like DW and all the Fox guys but that race, it seemed like DW just wouldn't shut up.

Re: Darlington Strips!

I much prefer Benny Parsons. He doesn't get so loud mouthed about the race. Ned Jarrett was also one that I liked. Chris Myers really seems out of place in the booth. Not sure if he even has a drivers license.

Have you ever noticed that DW likes to interrupt people when their broadcasting?

Unfortunately, that is just part of "The New Nascar". The idiots at network TV think they have to beat things into your head over and over so you understand it. The networks have ruined the sport from what it used to be. Everything has to be dramatized and overemphasized for the sake of precieved ratings. Whenever possible, I try and listen to the races on XM or MRN. They report the race without all the fluff and hype that the bozo announcers on Fox and NBC think we want.
