im sure most everyone either saw live or has heard by now Tony Stewart's comments about the tire Goodyear supplied for the Atlanta Cup race

he had some very unkind things to say about NASCAR's only tire supplier ..... of course this may not bother most, but NASCAR made a point of only letting Goodyear provide tires when there are other suppliers available

does anyone think NASCAR will fine Stewart for his comments .... or talk to him about them ?

There was not much wrong with the message itself. The content may have been a bit much and the attitude with which it was delivered was a bit overboard ... but that's Tony. Love him or hate him !!

Not for what we've seen/heard direct from TS' mouth to date. That's not to say he won't carry on further away from what we'll ever witness to the point where he crosses a line that could change everyones mind.

As far as someone (from NASCAR) talking to him with regards to his tirade, it would be helpful were someone able to help him see the line where he crosses from making a point to looking like a fool. Would likely be better coming from someone other than NASCAR, but it is unclear whether he will ever be receptive to anyone, from anywhere.

So ..... if he had won the race, would he have gone off like that ??? It's Tony people ... it's Tony. He didn't punch anyone, he didn't get into a vehicle fight, he merely spoke his mind in the heat of the moment .... and didn't even swear. Do you want him to be a JJ and be sickeningly sweet ?????

i disagree ....... i dont think HMS would ever hire him ... i dont know about RCR or Roush

dont get me wrong ... i dont dislike him at all ... and i dont have a problem with his comments .... especially if the tires could be unsafe someone had to say something
