Mark in no way meant to take out Edwards. He's just not that type of racer.

Gordon? Yes, I'm actually going to defend him. Rookie mistake? Come on. His car went up the track, I have no idea why, and he ran into Kenseth, taking both of them out. Do you think for one second that that was Gordon's intention? "You know who" has nothing to do with this equation.

What's next? Let's all bash Jr. for spinning the tires during the restart causing Gordon and Kenseth to split him, then causing Gordon to come up the track taking out himself and Kenseth? I'm just waiting for that one.

Fined and suspended? No way! Not for Martin or Gordon. Has nothing to do with who they are. When Evil Busch gets suspended for crashing his car into another driver in the pits or under caution, I'll raise the roof. Until then, no suspension is warranted. Period!

We've seen Gordon deliberately take Kenseth out before (wasn't that 2006?), this wasn't deliberate.

I kinda chuckled to myself during Edwards' post race interview on Saturday saying he couldn't get mad at Mark Martin because he wouldn't deliberately wreck a guy out. Of course if he tried to take issue like he did with Kenseth last year with Mark Martin... he'd get the tar beat out of him.

Okay here is my thoughts on this, Gordon it was one of those racing, he tried to make a pass and got loose.

But Martin it did seem like he did almost try to force that crash with Kesalowski and Carl Edwards.

Except that DEJ has a little problem getting out of first gear, it's a miracle everybody didn't just drive into the back of him, quick thinking and they were able to go around him but once around, I think their game was a little off and a feather touch by Gordo was enough to cause the wreck. I notice that immediately afterwards Hendrick was on the phone with DEJ's crew chief, yeah I bet that was some conversation!

Now I'm confused ??? Was Tony Eury driving the car ??? Did Hendrick's actively seek out Jr as a driver ???. I don't think he had any problem getting it from one gear to the next ... he just spun the tires on the restart. No traction .... no go.
