Well, with DJ's retirement coming up in a couple weeks, I came up with an idea to, every few days, post a video of a great moment in Dale's career to celebrate what really was a legendary one, even though he didn't have the mind blowing win total that some of the others do (32). As you know, I love the fact that youtube users have posted so many great racing memories as they were seen live.

It is not necessarily an ordered countdown, but I'll start with some of the lower key races and work up to the ones we all love. Enjoy (I know a couple who will for sure).

It's interesting to see how much has changed in 7 short years:

• Two Yates cars dueling at Martinsville.
• Sane, relevant commentary by DW and Larry (but of course, Larry couldn't stay away from "the big picture"),
• Ron Hornaday gets into the wall in 4 with 5 to go and no yellow comes out. Today, that's an instant caution.

For me his greatest moment was when he won the Daytona 500 and Ned was in the booth. DJ fan or not you gotta love that one. The other thing that I'll remember him for is the UPS commercials. Some real funny stuff there.

Ned callin it is definitely one of the best.

Yeah, I had planned on posting that. I was gonna do a number of them over the next two weeks, but who am I kidding. Once one is out there, you wanna see the rest.

It's hard to go against the '93 500, but my favorite is actually his first win when he and Davey Allison battled for the last 6 or so laps. These are the rest of them I found:
