This makes sense to me, and I still think that the southern fan, is more akin to Ferrari's Tefosi, that your average North American fan.
Otherwise they would just tape the race and go to work on Monday, I always wondered about that when watching a packed re-scheduled Bristol race.

ezactly we plan ahead so we might enjoy the 100.00 ticket prices that don;t get refunded if it were to rain.
