| Re: Casey Mears dropping out of top 35? That's a given. (I'm assuming you're talking about Eury Jr., not Eury Sr.?) But will that help Casey enough? As much as everyone talks about the drivers, it's pretty apparent to the interested observer that HMS has 2 good crew chiefs and 2 also-rans (I don't think much of Letarte, either) and it's a credit to their #1 driver paired with the also ran crew chief that he's still able to run up front. Jury's still out on the other driver paired with an also-ran CC.

| Re: Casey Mears dropping out of top 35? Looks a lot like last season, doesn't it? It seems as though Casey like a slow start then have a fast finish. I think he'll be OK and will keep a lock on remaining Hendrick's fourth team. |

I agree... he was bad at Ganassi with just an occassional good run here and there. At Hendricks, same thing. I was surprised when he got that Hendricks ride and even more surprised he has kept it. |
