Yeah, the last research paper I read put out by NASA (Not the Kyoto-loving Goddard Institute version of NASA!) indicates that the earth reached its peak temperature back in 1998. Since then there has been a very slight cooling effect. In fact there is clear evidence that there is more snow in the Arctic and the glaciers are actually beginning to increase.

Unfortunately Global Warming, to many, has transcended to an almost absolute religion and has created the same sort of zealots.

curiously the ice pack at the Antartica is decreasing.

maybe that means we're getting ready to do the old pole flip and swap? (If ya don't know what I'm talking about, don't bother .. there's nothing you can do about it anyway, so just enjoy the ride.)
