| Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart on probation- no Daytona for them! So Busch slammed his car into Stewart like a battering ram, Stewart retaliated, then punched Busch... now they're on probation. Ahhhh NASCAR.... so silly. Not that Daytona won't be good without them. It will be sweeeet! Busch and Stewart, you will be missed Last edited by Lefty Noob : 02-12-2008 at 02:09 PM. | Re: Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart on probation- no Daytona for them! Well the release said probation for 6 races. Not suspension. Where do you get that they won't be in the Daytona 500, unless I'm misreading your statement you seem to imply that they will not be in the race. I do not think that is the case. Busch was on probation for the whole second half of last year..... |

| Re: Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart on probation- no Daytona for them! I just reread it and all it says is 6 race probation. There is a thin threat that if there is a repeat violation while on probation, __SC__ will take action. What a typically BS statement by a ruling body that lacks the backbone to pin themselves down and be specific. If you do it again we'll park you for 1 or more races and take away points. They don't want to be specific because they are afraid to park a leading driver. If Robbie acts up watch out, they'll glue his behind to the bench. I'll believe that they will take action against Tony [Not $$'s but points and splinters] when I see it and not before. |

| Re: Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart on probation- no Daytona for them! Oops I guess I didn't read that clearly! I also saw that now they are letting the players "express more emotion" on the track... So does that mean punching people is kosher? That's pretty weird. Last edited by LSC9901 : 02-12-2008 at 06:04 PM. |

| Re: Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart on probation- no Daytona for them! I'm sorry... as much as I'm frustrated with Stewart I don't see any reason to put him on probation.... he didn't deliberately wreck busch... but Busch however, did intentionally hit Stewart and above all it was on pit road, again. That makes Busch a repeat offender.

Kurt's in Duel #1 and Tony's in Duel #2, so they won't meet up again until the big show on Sunday!

What garbage... I hate Kurt, and the NASCAR brass, more than ever. Yet another gutless call. |

| Re: Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart on probation- no Daytona for them! Wait a minute ... Busch attempted to block Stewart and got hit from behind, damaging both cars. Busch retaliated by slamming into the side of Stewart's car three times as they drove back toward the garage. Stewart then used his car to block Busch from exiting the track. I remember the jam, but he intentionally blocked Busch? Looked to me like he "ended up" there due to being slammed by Busch. That would block everyone, not just Busch. But what do I know? This is all just so ridiculous. I can't wait for the Duels tomorrow so we can have something new to talk about!
