OK ... I'll give it a shot here. For our weekly predictions we ask for the 1st and 2nd place drivers of the race for that week. Below is how to enter, what is needed and what you win if your guesses meet the winning requirements.

Time to get your predictions in for the Daytona 500 from Daytona International Speedway.

The race is on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 17 at 2 PM on FOX. Green Flag is scheduled for 3:30 PM

The winner will receive a permanent upgrade of your member title if you choose the 1st & 2nd place drivers.

If you get just the 1st place driver you'll get a one month upgrade of your member title.

If you get just the 2nd place driver you get an honorable mention in the predictions thread. The guesses must be made prior to qualifying.

Correct guesses after that will get honorable mention only.

Just post who you want for the winner and who you want for 2nd place, stating the name of the driver and what place he will finish (1st & 2nd only)

Problems with engines - You may want to reconsider your prediction:

Jayski is reporting #88-Earnhardt Jr. lost and engine midway thru the 2nd practice today at Daytona International Speedway and the team will change engines, then it was mentioned on SPEED's coverage that all the Hendrick Motorsports cars and several others would be changing engines. They are:

• 24-Gordon
• 48-Johnson
• 88-Earnhardt
• 5-Mears
• 66-Riggs
• 96-Yeley
  

Also RCR's 07-Bowyer lost an engine and is changing their engine.
