Hey, everyone, just read on Jayski that the rumors are circulating that Ward Burton is off the list of available drivers. Going to Yates, possibly to replace the Toyota man? I've missed him. I love his interviews. It would be so cool to see him back!!!

Ha, that's hilarious and reminds of Tony Stewarts rookie season. After running in IRL with a lot of foreigners in the garage area, he was asked how he liked running in Winston Cup. His response was, "the best thing about it, is everyone speaks English.........well, except Ward Burton".

My prediction is that UPS will not go with Jarrett. NAPA went with Waltrip and he is doing nothing for them. Can't even stay in the top 35.


Plus it should be easy for Ward to say UPS and relatively easy for us to understand it. LOL

what would you rather hear? Ward who might be hard to understand until you get used to it, but it's at least something worth listening to, or some new pretty boy with nothing to say except sponser names.

I think its great news if true. For some reason I don't have much trouble understanding him, at least you know he's never going to BS anybody. There was a past champion who talked in much the same way who took speech lessons and went on to a long career in the broadcast booth. Mr. Ned Jarrett. Good luck to Ward where ever he ends up.
