What tracks have you been to?

I have to admit that my "at the track" experiences leave a LOT to be desired.

The only track that I have ever been to is Michigan Speedway.

How about you?

What tracks have you been to, and which ones would you recommend?

Re: What tracks have you been to?

DEGA, Michigan, Atlanta, Bristol, Kentucky

I recommend DEGA just for the experience of feeling them comin off turn 2.

Re: What tracks have you been to?

Indy, Bristol, and Richmond. Hard for me to choose which one I would recommend. Bristol is nice, but traffic is terrible. Indy is a lot easier to get to and from.

Please don't remind me. You don't have to, my joints do every time I stand up and take a step.

BTW, the ONLY track I would recommend now, based on entertainment value, seating, ability to see the track, and price is Richmond.

The track I DO NOT recommend to go to to see the race is the track in my home town, Indianapolis. Horrible track to see a race at, best track on the circuit for racing atmosphere and the museum IS NOT to be missed!!!

PS: I forgot to put Talladega on the list

Phoenix (1989)
Bristol (Fall Race last year, 2007)
Daytona (But not for a race, just a track tour and Daytona USA)

I hope to go too Indy for the Brickyard next year, just to say I was there. I figure there is a lot of history there other than NASCAR, so I want to go!
