| Re: Dale Jarrett moving to Toyota? Hi EXCELR8, welcome to GoTeamsGo Appreciate you sharing your opinion with us here. I know you'll find plenty of healthy debate among the other members here on this topic and many others. Another thing that you'll find is that we shoot for passionate discussions without any name calling. I don't think you were intentionally name calling but I tweaked your wording a bit to make sure it wasn't misinterpreted. Passionate but civil discussion. That's one thing that makes us different from most of the other sports forums and we work hard to make sure that it stays that way. Look forward to chatting with you more. Thanks, Ross

| Re: Dale Jarrett moving to Toyota? I would imagine that Toyo will expect results from their teams. The teams might be playing catch-up, but I think they will have a lot of resources available to them from Toyota. The thing that bothers me is that I think Toyota will throw whatever money it takes to do well and "save face" in America's premier motorsport. |

| Re: Dale Jarrett moving to Toyota? Money will not make a team. Time together and getting to know everyones needs and dislikes will be more valuable than anything. When a crew chief comes in with ideas that worked on another team and the rest of the team doesn't feel the same way, then nothing is accomplished other than no team work. It is a theory that has been proven over and over. I'm not saying that they cannot win, I'm just saying that money and a good driver do not create a championship. As I have noted before Michael Waltrip was nothing until DEI picked him up. Sadly Dale Jarrett appears to be on the downhill side of his career. Just those two scenerios alone put you a leg down on the competition. If Waltrip was that good he wouldn't be in 35th place. I gotta believe that when the teams are announced it will shed a lot more light on the subject. Either way I still think it will be a few years at the least before they become a force in the series.
