| Re: Barrett Jackson's I watched one the other night, a black '69 Firebird, mild custom. only got $30K ... 'twas disappointing - a good looking car with a first class makeover... was followed by an early "goat" (GTO for the uninitiated), nasty mustard tan color. didn't like it so clicked to ... one of those 150 places on the remote - don't remember which.

| Re: Barrett Jackson's I've been watching this and it's pretty incredible. One of Tony Stewart's #20 Home Depot cars just sold for $300,000. That included a photo-op with Tony, who was there on stage, a full race suit and helmet Tony wore during a race, and a diamond ring Tony wore to some award banquet. The money goes to the Darrell Gwynnn Foundation, who was also there on stage. Pretty cool! And I'm really impressed with how knowledgeable Mike Joy is about some of these cars and what's going on. | Re: Barrett Jackson's Must be nice. Stewart has the highest selling car so far @ $300,000 for his race car, and he's won the bid on two other cars: $80,000 for a 1950 Custom Chopped Mercury 2 Door Coupe: Barrett-Jackson - The World's Greatest Collector Car Events™ $120,000 for a 1967 Pontiac GTO 2 Door Hardtop: Barrett-Jackson - The World's Greatest Collector Car Events™ |

| Re: Barrett Jackson's I have watched this all week. The cars during the week wasn't going for any where near where they should have. Although they did have some stupid cars earlier. Like the Mustang that was a lawn mower. |

Speaking from a bit of personal experience, if you do any vehicle customizing on your own car, you do for the love of the car, not profit.
