2007 Makes NASCAR History

In 2007, it was the first year in NASCAR history that a North Carolina driver did not win a single race.

The line it is drawn, the curse it is cast
The slow one now will later be fast
As the present now will later be past
The order is rapidly fadin'
And the first one now will later be last
For the times they are a-changin'.

Bob Dylan 1964 ... I remember it like it was yesterday.

I like two quotes on Progress:
1. "Progress - progress is the dirtiest word in the language - who ever told us,
And made us believe it - that to take a step forward was necessarily always,
A good idea?" EDNA ST. VINCENT MILLAY (1940)

2. "The magnitude of a "progress" is gauged by the sacrifice it requires." NIETZSCHE (1887)

Dylan's concept of change and progress is a little too fatalistic for me. But, the boy did have a point.
