| Re: Dale Earnhardt 1969 Camaro to be auctioned Had there only been one engine I may have been able to afford it, but with two .... it's probably out of my range. I'll be phone bidding. Watch for me. |

| Re: Dale Earnhardt 1969 Camaro to be auctioned $575,000. But they were trying really hard to bump that up. They threw in race tickets, track tours, Richard Chidress tried to stir the masses, as did Tony Stewart. Still a nice amount of money, but I bet there was a LOT of money put into that car. It is not unusual there days for a good, and I mean good, resto to cost $100,000. And this one was one fine car! |

| Re: Dale Earnhardt 1969 Camaro to be auctioned Just as a matter of trivia, the guy who bought the "Intimidator" Camaro was Jimmy Richardson, principal of Colson Park Capital, Inc., in Hickory, N.C., who also has ties to the famed No. 3 GM Goodwrench teams. His Mom ‘N’ Pop’s Old Fashion Sugar Cured Country Ham was an associate sponsor of the team for six years (1991-96), three of which resulted in championship seasons (1991, ‘93, ‘94).
