In an effort to better align itself in the NASCAR community, Bobby Hamilton Racing and Arrington Manufacturing announced Monday the formation of a partnership between its two companies. AMI consists of a joint venture between Mac Bailey, Mark Melling, Clay Campbell, Stacy Compton and Joey Arrington. BHR will continue to be run daily by Lori Hamilton with AMI management group. Mark Melling and Stacy Compton are in this.... They must have patched things up. Sucks that Melling Racing is pretty much no more. They just do third party stuff.

I bet things like this are why Bobby Jr. left BHR last season saying, "I just don't like the way things are going." Bobby Sr. is being missed greatly.

I was never a fan of Bobby Sr., but I agree his organization was much more stable when he had the wheel. There's something to be said for the simple but directed management style those old country boys brought to their racing organizations.
