Gordon's #24 Chevy part of Daytona exhibit

Zoom in this holiday season to experience the thrill of auto racing in an original exhibit created by the Orlando Science Center in collaboration with Daytona International Speedway and its partners. Discover the DAYTONA 500 offers a hands-on experience exploring the science and history behind auto racing with authentic racing cars, gear and the chance for guests to race scale models. ... The centerpiece of the exhibit will be Jeff Gordon's #24 DuPont Automotive Finishes Chevrolet, provided by Hendrick Motorsports. Other gear includes a life-size cutaway model of a stock car, a racing seat where guests can strap themselves in, an example of the Gatorade In Car Drinking System (G.I.D.S.) and a working V-8 engine. A garage area with a Pit Stop activity, a video wall showing historical race footage and driving simulators will also be major exhibit components. -- WFTV

Why Gordon? Why not Dale Jarrett or Mark Martin?

First, remember who owns Daytona. Now the rest of the story: because, like it or not, Gordo is a 4 time champ, is still active and (rumor) HMS schmoozes the France family, (facts) Mark's not a champ and both Mark and DJ are semi-retired... The only other choices would be Jimmy Johnson (we're in JJ overload right now), Kurt Busch (not likely), Tony Stewart (even less likely, besides, they're changing brands) or Matt Kenseth (Roush & the Frances don't get along very well....)

process of elimination...simple.
