Come to think of it, wouldn't it be cool to see an Earnhardt and a Labonte battling for the win again?

It sure would! How about Daytona? That would bring the crowd to their feet! And me as well!

Sure would.

Actually, any good racing that didn't involve JJ, JG, or the Busch punks would bring me to my feet these days. Been a long time.

Agreed. I'm pretty sick of those four myself.

If NASCAR goes multi-lingual on it's website, they won't need English to vote. What language do they speak in Columbia? I don't even know. But with that Spanish NASCAR website being talked about, I'll bet you'll see a lot more votes for the south of the border drivers.

Penny, I love your posts about "the driver you no longer mention". I've never seen anyone "not" talk about anything so much! I can definately learn some creative writing skills from you. Too funny! I'd almost rather see The Racecar Driver Formerly Known as Juan win than the other "J" drivers, just for something different. (I said "almost").

Holy crap, I'd pee my pants if that happened! (Probably in the category of TMI, right there). Would that not be so cool? This year's finish will be tough to beat, but that would do it for me.

uh ....... I thought you didn't want any "J" driver to win ...... according to that .. Jr. would be included in your list of non-winners.

Ah ha, getting technical on me now. Let me clarify. I meant first name "J" drivers, aka "Jeff" or "Jimmy". Jr. would actually be a "D" driver. How's that for logic! I wouldn't mind seeing Juablo win a race on an oval track, mostly because I think he can do it and it would be someone different. I'm all for Jr. getting a win or two, in fact, I'd really be happy if he did. I think he's paid his dues with the crummy year he just had. And I have to admit, while I'm kind of sick of him, I'd like to see Gordon someday be in a position to tie or exceed the 7 championships stat. But then I'd have to watch him win over and over again. Probably doesn't matter whether he's winning or not, he'll still be one of only a handful of drivers that get any coverage. And since he came in second in the "most popular" vote (seriously, how did that happen!), I guess he's not much of an underdog anymore, popularity wise. Those votes had to have been rigged.
