I ask you to think about it, DOF. Have you EVER, in your adult life, been to an "exciting," or more than marginally entertaining, banquet?

I have been to a few and usually they have watered-down drinks and mass-produced food. In the case of awards and appreciation banquets, the acceptance and thank you speeches are normally long on words and short on interest.

No I haven't been to an "exciting" or more than marginally entertaining banquet, but at least the drinks were good and not watered-down.

The FIA Gala was better then the NASCAR Banquet if you ask me; just because Mario Andretti and some of those WRC boys beat the Cup boys (and F1 boys for that matter) and their programed PR (empty) speeches. Marcus Gronholm arriving at Monaco in a real rally car and then handing over the keys to the car-parking boys and then ripping his driving suit to uncover his tuxedo underneath, last year, now that was just priceless.

You guys kill me! LOL! Just messing! This year I have to say the speeches weren't long and boring but David Spade was the worst part of the entire banquet!
