Lowe's track to stay in Concord.

Seems Burton Smith got what he wanted all along an more.Good job by him,I would say. Charlotte.com : Charlotte news, events, Panthers, Bobcats, jobs, cars, homes

You almost had to know that a county that was in that much need of his presence, would bow to his desires. I'm sure there will be a handful of residents that will sell to get away from the noise that was there before they came, but who would you rather have leave ??

I'm sorry, but these people are just like the ones who build next to an airport or an interstate and complain about the noise... did they honestly think they could control the noise and when it happened???

And, there's no way a city or county politician would keep their seat if they let the biggest industry in their area get away!!!

I know a lot of folks don't like Bruton. Lord knows that he's pulled some deals that have whizzed in my Cheerio's, industrial strengt!. However, in this case, I say, "Score one for the good guys!"
