Im coming over from scotland for the 500 in feb!!! But I have a few days to kill after the race any suggestions what I can do or where do go?

As long as you're in the area you might as well hit Orlando and all of the attractions. In the meantime feel free to join in with us and tell us your likes and dislikes. It always makes for great discussion.

ya'd better plan on a week (at least) to see all the attractions in and around Orlando...

I believe in Daytona Beach, there's a NASCAR tour that takes you by France's old service station and shows you where the beach course was. if you're a bit of an nostalgia buff, those are two good, quick views.

and, though Spring Break will still be a month away, ya might find some folks on the beach workin' on their tans (though it's usually too cool for locals at that time of year.)

almost forgot: check the schedule at New Smyrna Speedway

they usually have a great late model show to coincide with the 500 and it's only 10-15 miles from the Daytona Beach.
